Comme Des Garcons was founded by Rei Kawakubo in Tokyo^ 1969. Today CDG is one of fashions most important brands with numerous lines designed by Rei^ Junya Watanabe and Tao Kurihara including Comme Des Garcons Shirt and Comme Des Garcons Play. The CDG Play line is a collection of basic^ staple items^ consisting of simple cardigans^ crew neck knitwear^ polo necks and t-shirts. Comme des Garcons Play items are characterised by the iconic red heart logo first designed by Filip Pagowski^ a New York-based artist from Poland.
